OVOLIFTS
Engineered Line Lifting

Ovolifts

Ovolifts Disruptive Technology

Ovolifts has disruptive patented technology developed in conjunction with the petro-chemical industry that enables safe and engineered access to multiple pipe touchpoints in live environments.

Our engineered touchpoint access solution cost-effectively combines remediation with physical inspection in a single operation and can be done outside of scheduled turnarounds, whilst the lines remain in-service.

Costs are reduced by lifting multiple lines, from multiple supports, safely and without the need for contractor T/O rates. Also reduced is the need for cranes and erection of complicated scaffold structures by using rope access crews.

Advantages

The Ovolifts Difference

Remote Lifting

Lifting is done remotely using hydraulics, allowing personnel to be staged at a safe distance.

Lifts From Supports

No clearance is required beneath the supports, replacing traditional pipe rack jacks.

Eliminates Scaffolding

The tools are lightweight making them ideal for use through rope access methods.

Static Structure

Eliminates suspended loads by positively restricting the jack’s stroke.

Multiple/Large OD Lines

Lift any number of lines on a pipe rack in a single lifting operation.

Improves Safety

Plant safety is improved by eliminating hazards and implementing safety measures.

Eliminates Cranes

Cranes are costly, have a large operating footprint and introduce safety hazards.

Defers Shutdowns

Our pipe jacks are engineered to be safe for use on lines which are in-service.

Damage Mechanisms

Corrosion Damage - Erosion - Failed Pads - Line Movement - Metal to Metal - Water Entrapment.

Applications

When To Call Ovolifts

Over Water Lifts

Lifting lines on supports over open water which lack ground-level access and above supporting structures to lift from without additional costly rigging.

Multiple Lines

Concurrent lifting of 2 or more lines across multiple supports is easily achieved using our jacks.

Stress Critical Lines

Wall loss due to corrosion, branching connections or equipment acting as a fixed point along the line are all challenges that we can overcome.

On-Stream Lines

Certain jack safety features and safety procedures enable lifting lines that are in service, greatly increasing the available time window for maintenance.

Ground-Level Lifts

Our pipe rack jacks lift directly from the existing support of any shape or size, whether it be an I-beam, channel beam, concrete or circular support.

Large Diameter Lines

Lift large lines up to or even greater than 60" which would otherwise require a crane to execute.

Expertise

Engineering Services

Leveraging our years of experience of on-stream lifting, our engineers work together with our clients and partners to determine the most effective approach for successfully completing a project. All projects require comprehensive planning, and our goal is to support our customers on a path to success.

Lift Planning

Defines lifting configurations and lifting curves. Includes line weight calculations to ensure loads remain within operating limits.

Pipe Stress Analysis

Critical for ensuring the proposed lift heights won’t introduce stresses that are above the allowable code limits.

Project Management

Our wealth of knowledge and experience has positioned us as industry experts in the field of engineered line lifting.

Training

Provides your technicians with the optimum level of expert instruction along with theoretical and practical training.
